If you are not old why would you get it?
1) I’d really like to not spread it to old people.
2) while my individual risk of dying or having long term consequences from covid is very low I still think it’s better to get the vaccine than the disease.
I got it last Wednesday. Slight stiffness in my arm the next day and that was it for side effects. Ran 18 miles yesterday so it didn't impact my running. For anyone who asks why you would get it: (1) to help protect vulnerable family members, co-workers and random strangers I might encounter; (2) I have traveled extensively in Asia and Africa and so have taken just about every vaccine there is and have NOT gotten cholera, typhoid, yellow fever, etc; (3) doubtful that all the employees I work with in the hospital could keep their mouths and twitter accounts shut long enough to maintain any sort of government conspiracy.

Since the Pfizer vaccine has to be stored at -70C, how could they have possibly injected the actual Pfizer vaccine into you without destroying your muscle tissue? Checkmate libs.
You are quite obviously very dumb. Many vaccines before this one had to be stored at very low temperatures, but after they thaw them there is still a short period where they are effective and administered
Pretty sure that was satire.

You have gotten slight variations of the Same answer to this same question many times. The next time you ask the question could you at least address the answers you have gotten?
Here is one example of how you could do so
“ if I don’t care about protecting other why would I get the vaccine”
Or
“You say that you would get the vaccine to protect others, what makes you think that it would actually do that.”
Something like those questions would indicate that you are taking in responses and actually interested in a dialogue, or making a valid argument.
I'm getting the second shot on Jan 4 also. I had just mild arm soreness on the day after the first dose.
Any sexual side effects?

Not that I’m aware of or have affected me yet.

Do they really need to check your testicles? That's what a female nurse told me when I got it. i just said ok, and dropped them..
They took my temperature. No other vital signs or physical exam.
Do you plan to get the second dose?

I run 30-60 miles per week but have a pretty poor diet. Frequent fast food ect. The vaccine is mRNA stabilized by some lipids with some preservatives and buffers to keep it at a physiologic pH.
This is correct except there are no preservatives.

You have more faith in the establishment than is warranted.
You think young folks with no symptoms are killing old folks with the virus? I find that very hard to believe and find no data to support it.
You think the vaccine is safe to you? Think again
2.7% of those who received the vaccine on Friday were incapacitated the same day.
Could not do normal day to day stuff and many were hospitalized.
Maybe they only were screwed for a day.
Then again, others may have negative reactions in the days following.

It’s hard to find very much empiric data on something as new as coronavirus. But there are empiric data to support the efficacy and safety of the vaccine and hypothetically it should help prevent the spread. Remember, there has also never been a double blind placebo controlled trial on parachutes so jumping out of a plane with a parachute isn’t supported by as stringent a level of evidence as the vaccine data.
