I like Russians as well, and admire their culture. I like them a lot more than a lot of other cultures and countries I could mention. This action can't be tolerated, though. Condemning it and trying sanctions won't be enough, in my opinion.

Maybe if we hadn't expanded NATO right up to Russia's doorstep (as wiser heads had advised) we wouldn't be having all these problems.
I can't help but notice that the same type of globalist interventionists that lied us into the Iraq War are banging the drums most loudly for a confrontation with Russia.

Not exactly a stunning observation. If someone is a globalist and believes the American military can be used to curtail or eliminate global threats, then, yeah, that person might be inclined to think that way when an enemy superpower hacks America's entire government computer system. In fact, I'd bet a lot of isolationist/pacifists like yourself would be thinking maybe Russia went a bit too far here.

We need to press Russia's militarily. Confrontations where we break the normal engagement rules in the air over north Pacific and anywhere our navies meet. See if they want to defend themselves. If they do, they will lose some expensive equipment and keeping losing it, until they back down. We still have the technical and numbers advantage.
We need to show anger and that we've reached a limit. Their behavior needs to be stopped. The whole country is at risk with this hack.
You are very young &/or very foolish. You type the way Hitler talked prior to Operation Barbarossa. Are you familiar with Russian 3 to 1 tank superiority in Europe? Poster, list the last nation who successfully taught Russians or Soviets a lesson.
Way to go Godwin on me, man.
Yes.
Afghanistan.
WTF does any of this have to do with what I posted?
Russia has not been Communist since 1991, China on the other hand is Communist and allegedly had a spy with Congressman Eric Solwell (or however it is spelled) if that is true we should go to War until China Surrenders UNCONDITIONALLY, we are good so just like WW2 we should help them rebuild, If we went to all out we can defeat them before January 20th when Biden gets in so Trump can claim all the glory, We should first offer them a chance to surrender and meet our demands before the War starts as American are compassionate people, we hate Communist Governments, but we have no problem with the people who had the misfortune of being victims of Communism, Most people even in Communist Countries are good people, Our (Americans) hatred is with Communism not the people who are in fact victims of Communism.

Please don't do this.
whilst many people were networking computers and using various protocols, the world wide web, which is tinternet as we know it, was invented by an Englishman.

Of course. What could possibly go wrong. This always works in the movies.

Afghanistan what? Then Soviets felt like Risk Reward was no longer worth it. Show us the videos of Afghan troops Goose Stepping on the streets of Moscow, Saint Petersburg and Volograd. You admit that Russians have a 3 to 1 tank advantage. If Russia want Alaska back are you willing to go up there, carry anti-tank missiles this winter to teach Russia a lesson?

I am also saddened by the fact that I grew up during The Cold War and you could always count on the GOP to be the most fervent defenders of our nation against Soviet aggression. Democrats and Republicans could disagree on policy, spending priorities, and national direction but, they agreed on who our enemies were and keeping the nation safe from those adversaries. Today, many Republican stalwarts travel to Moscow on Independence Day to kiss up to Putin and find ways to make excuses for him whenever he misbehaves. Nothing has changed in Russia except the flag. The country is a mafia run state and the mafia is largely ex-KGB. I appears that many in the GOP (and probably some Dems) now value personal wealth and power over patriotism.

That would be a better question to ask if Russia was actually trying to get Alaska back using military force. I think that is highly unlikely to happen, but assuming it did, the answer is Yes. Yes, I'd be willing to go to Alaska and carry anti-tank missiles this winter if that would help stop a Russian invasion of Alaska. Basically, I'd do whatever my country asked me to do in trying to stop a Russian invasion, while you went about doing whatever it is people like yourself would do.

That's a pretty lame response. There is plenty that could go wrong. If the standard was whether anything could go wrong, the country would never do anything.
What hack?
Do we even have evidence of hack?
I know there is no evidence Russia did it. All these claims about Russia doing stuff the past four years have all been evidence free.
Can't believe no one has mentioned the obvious, or maybe I just missed it ...
Now more than ever, we need Albert MF Gore !!!!

What we all know is you don't know anything
Russia is NOT our Enemy, they have not been Communist since 1991 and I heard their Constitution forbids it from being Communist in the Future, Our (Americans) Hatred of Russia was NEVER the people of Russia, like all groups when you meet them one to one, they are overwhelmingly good meaning likeable people, Our Hatred was always towards Communism, and Bolsheviks leading many to the Gulags, Communism is evil, always leads to killing of Millions, Stallin of Russia, Mao of China, Pol pot of Cambodia all evil,
Russia NOW is doing good, Religion is growing, Patriotism is growing,, Fertility Rates well below replacement levels for many Decades is increasing (though still below replacement levels, but it is growing so that is a good sign) Leave Russia alone, The People of Russia overwhelmingly despise Communism (Because many still living and their ancestors lived through it, so they learned the hard way) Meanwhile communism in Venezuela has led to EXTREME POVERTY, reports of people eating their pets and in at least 1 case digging up graves for food (Cannibalism)
Putin is doing a great job, the people of Russia overwhelmingly like him and President Trump likes him (Which is probably the REAL reason for the Anti-Russia talk)
Flaming racist threads need a consequence

So your response is : Let's do something. This is something. Let's do it. Not a recipe for success. Go and look up the story of the old bull and the young bull and then think about it.
