I have two options I have to make very soon.
Top 5 in the nation for juco xc gave me a roster spot and I’d be top 8 on their team at the moment with a strong possibility to earn money after my first season. My second option is a full ride to another Juco with a top 20 program. Both 30 minutes away from home and my grades aren’t an issue I’m qualifying for my states scholarship very soon.

Which coach do you like better?
Which teammates do you fit in better with? both Freshmen this year and the HS seniors that are joining the team?
Answer those two questions and you are on your way. Of course the $$ is nice.
Why are you going the JUCO route?
I like the coach and the philosophy at the school that’s top 5 in the nation and the teammates there are a lot more vocal and have a want to win now attitude.
The Juco route isn’t bad I tan sub 17 but I’m not fast enough to go to the mid major d1s around me yet probably until track why not save a couple of grand a year until I leave the Juco and go there.
I went to a state university and ran there, but if I wasn't as fast as I was in high school JUCO would have been a great option to set yourself up for a great life. I was electrical engineering, but there were a couple JUCO schools where you can do the first two years of the state school's engineering program at the JUCO school and then transfer for your last couple years and still get the same engineering degree. The JUCO school is less tuition, and easier to get an athletic scholarship compared to the state university. The program I mentioned works because the first couple years are core engineering classes like different types of Calculus, chemistry, intro to circuits, physics, stuff that doesn't have to be taught at a University. Then once you transfer you get the upper level undergrad courses like electromagnetic theory, pattern recognition, embedded circuits...
Don't transfer JUCOs, I would not recommend anyone to JUCO for a third year but if you do just stay where you develouped.
Or, reach out to schools. You are top 5 at a lot of schools. If you are who I believe you are (the only other top 5 American appears to be committed) there are lots of options in Texas.
