Hit just below 90 miles in total volume, will continue to increase.
Monday:
AM- 10.1 @6:48 avg. average HR 153. Felt pretty good, legs are kind of sluggish not gonna lie.
PM- 5@ 6:48 avg. average HR 146. Felt super smooth and easy, much better than this morning. Kind of funny how that works!
Tuesday:
AM- 4.02 @7:02 avg. average HR @153, felt super sluggish and tired this morning. Need to get on it with sleep. Tempo planned for this afternoon. Core afterwards.
PM- 11.6 @5:34 avg. Average HR @143. 8 mile tempo @5:07 avg (5:21 down to 4:56). Felt super easy, flat surface. Surprised I felt this smooth. Had to jump a fence to get on this loop so my hand was bloody the entire tempo.
Wednesday:
AM- 9@ 6:51 avg. average HR @157. felt pretty sluggish and figured I was going slower ( I don’t look at my watch on regular runs), but it turns out I was going quicker than expected. Trying to keep it easy today after yesterday’s longer effort.
PM- 4@6:51 avg. Average HR @145. Meant to go slower but felt good.
Thursday:
AM- 10.3 @6:34 avg. Incorporated a mini fartlek but cut short due to running too much before starting. 6x 60 seconds on @5:00, 90 seconds off at regular run pace. Felt good, kind of tired. Average HR @147
PM- 5 @6:48 average. 6:47 average. Average HR @148. Felt super controlled and easy for some reason, my shakeouts have been quicker than usual. May be due to the fact mileage has been lower the previous weeks due to buildup. Core afterwards
Friday:
AM- 9.8 @ 6:41 avg. Average HR 134. Felt good and smooth, beautiful mornings. Legs are ready to make moves on some fake “alphas”.
Pm- 2.5 on treadmill @7:10 avg. treadmill belt become misaligned so I had to cut it short. Kind of annoying
Saturday:
AM- 16.07 @6:19 avg. felt like crap the first half but dialed into a calm trance. HR average 152, elevation gain 778 feet
PM- off
Sunday:
AM- 4.07 miles, 6:58 avg. felt good, kind of sluggish. HR average 148. Core afterwards.
