Title says it all, if somebody had extra eligibility, can the school they go to for a grad transfer help them get into their grad program? I’m a mediocre student, great resume, but iffy on if I’ll get in without admissions assistance. Thanks

This has been discussed at length, and every school is different, but in the majority of cases the answer is no.
At most schools undergraduate admissions is handled by a single office. Grad admissions are typically handled by each individual graduate program, and these programs are in no way beholden to athletics.
I am inclined to say the more competitive and prestigious the grad program, the more likely they are to jealously guard and maintain their admissions autonomy.
