Hey everyone, I am currently a high school senior who just came off a cross country season with a PR of 17:19. Towards the end of the season we had some crappy weather so realistically I think I was in 16:40ish shape but because of course conditions and weather I was unable to run that. I was also injured for 2 months at the beginning of the season and missed out on a whole two months of training so I think I can go even faster than that. Now heading into indoor I have PR’s of 2:01.43 and 4:38.8 in the 800 and 1600. I think I could’ve gone faster in both probably about 2:01 flat and not quite sure for the 1600 because I only raced that once in like a year and a half and my outdoor season was cancelled. Heading into this year’s indoor and outdoor season my goals are to make it to indoor state and outdoor state but I need to figure out which event I should pursue so I can set my training and workout plan accordingly.
