Well, my guess is it’s a jumps/sprints/hurdles hire
The new head at Toledo has been quite vocal about dumping the little $ that was invested in the sprints, jumps and throws into distance. Same goes for coaching those events. It doesn't matter what events this gig should cover.

What’s the deal with Brown? It has been several months. Are they actually posting or just keeping interim? As an alum, I would like to at least see some clarity and stability after almost losing the men’s team.

Last time I checked they hired Hannah as Tim Springfield's assistant. Then fired Tim and promoted Ken Hunt (multis coach) to head. Then just hired Kurt Benninger to be Hannah's assistant? Lots of moving parts but my guess is Ken is the guy they want in that role.
