So, I took the week off because I felt tired. I did 3 months of solid training. It been a week since I started back and I felt I was less in shape. I didn't felt horrible in my runs but I am not exactly at the same kind of shape I was before. Im confident that my fitness will come back fast because it did the same thing the last time I took time off and not a long time after that, I was in the best shape of my life.
I ve noticed that my speed is better. I could run faster on the 200m repeats than before.
Yesterday, I went for a run with tired legs and I wanted to run 13km but only ran 9. It felt hard and I was running at the same pace of my 14km long runs that I was doing the weeks before (7:15 per mile)
Does it do the same thing when you stop running for a week.
