And in Florida, the Sec. of Dept. of Health can call the police on you to force a vaccination.

YESSSSSSSSSS.
Great news. I don’t want druggies or anti-vaxxers serving me.
Employers get to choose who they employ. What a surprise.
Fortunately my employer no longer requires that we work in the office so we likely won't be forced to get the vaccine.
Hospitals and clinics have been requiring employees to get flu shots for years so this is not completely unprecedented.

Yeah I’d want my health care providers to have those shots.
Combine all Big Pharma covid-19 trials. We are talking about AT THE MOST, (2.5 to 5) million healthy test subjects, under age 60 and over age 20 with few if any co-morbidities. There are roughly 8 billion people in the world. These test trials have not gone perfectly. A death occurred during a Johnson & Johnson covid-19 test trial. A couple of Big Pharma companies have had test subjects suffer paralysis. Any employer mandating a covid-19 vaccine is asking to be sued out of business. I 100% take covid-19 seriously, but less than 1/10 of 1% of U.S. citizens have died from covid-19. The cure cannot be worse than covid-19 virus.

Yeah maybe, in 1905 the Supreme Court ruled that local governments can force you to take a vaccine, but I'm not sure a whole state or federal government could.
And the president CAN order a nuclear missile to be fired at China.
Ugh NO that's not how employment works. You're not being forced to take the job so you're not being forced to take the vaccine. Your employment is at-will in most cases which absolves the employer of liability. There's no way you could win in court since you are working at will. It would be similar to how the military operates. New recruits have to take a number of shots in our ALL-VOLUNTEER army. The employment contracts will be updated at any company that participates to state that the vaccination is needed for continued employment. You're free to leave because the language will clear the employer of any liability.

Glad I am self employed!!!
They can’t guarantee that you took it.
From your posts, I am certain you are not an attorney.
If there are flaws with a vaccine and employer mandates employees take a novel vaxx, employers are liable.

Not necessarily. I work at a hospital and while they say they require it, it really isn’t mandatory. In past years, we had to wear a mask if we didn’t get it. Not sure what they are going to do this year.

Try to discriminate who you hire based on gender. Only in very specific circumstances can you do it.

That was the Jacobson v. Massachusetts case where Jacobson refused to take the smallpox vaccine amist an outbreak in the community:
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jacobson_v._MassachusettsJacobson wasn't arrested or even quarantine but was forced to pay a $5.00 fine (equivalent to about $148.00 in today's money). Jacobson paid the fine but contested the state's right to impose punishment for refusing a vaccine taking it to the Supreme Court where they agreed to hear the case.
So, if the government at various levels is going to mandate the Covid vaccine and some people refuse, then according to Jacobson only a fine would be administered.
If employers and businesses are going to mandate the vaccine, I would think they might open themselves up to lawsuits if someone develops a serious adverse incident where not only could they be sued but the manufacturer as well.

There's a new Supreme Court in town, and anyone who thinks they won't intervene is a fool.
Thank God I'm not in the USA

It seems like a risky move for an employer. If someone were to be forced to get the vaccine per terms of employment and have a bad reaction to it then the employer would probably get sued. For how new the vaccine is I don’t know if it’s worth the risk for an employer to force its employees to get the vaccine.
If my employer threatened termination if I refused to take the vaccine, I would then reserve my right to sue the employer for any side effects.
