It seems killian is disappointed with his 10k TT if 29:59.. that he only now talks about the 24 hour record. So is he out for Valencia marathon? He should not be disappointed as his 10k effort was done in non mechanical doping shoes.

Some people speculated that Kilian might do the Valencia Marathon but I don't think it was something he ever publicly suggested himself. He had the 24h in mind before he raced the 10k.
The thing is, the cult of Kilian was blown up when he was smoked by about 15 sub-elite Norwegians in a legitimately measured and timed race. He ran a time slower than many women and children have achieved. He ran a time that was much slower than he claims he runs after warming up with a ridiculously hard workout.
Kilian is a master of social media. He knows that he can't afford to put up another result that will be unfavorably compared to elite runners. There isn't much upside to him running a marathon slower than women like, say, Hasay or Pappas. Stick to the events he can dominate.

but those 15 sub elites were wearing the bouncer fly shoes....
Give up on the idea that Kilian is a world class athlete. He lost by over 40 seconds to a 16 year old Norwegian. In a distance race. Kilian is the most hyped distance runner in history, and he almost got lapped by a 16 year old Norwegian. Kilian dominates the little niche things that he does because there is so little competition. Forget about what would happen if elite runners started doing his events, he should be worried that Norwegian local club level runners get involved in his business.

and once again i said, the people that were ahead of him wore shoes that make you 1-2 min faster than your natural ability.
Are you really giving him a hard time on his first ever flat fast road race ever? And because he was beat by a minute to a minute forty by people who have been specializing in this specific field for years. Not sure about you but that shows his untapped potential in the shorter fast stuff, not that he is overrated.

I don't know how a 16 year old who smoked KJ by a minute has been specializing in anything for years. Distance running is distance running, and KJ claims that he runs way faster than he actually is capable of all the time in training. Yep, he trains on flat surfaces. And he just can't hang with club level distance runners. The jig is up, he is a lot of hype but not much substance.
