The most important thing is does the venue have proper ventilation. Whether is does or doesn't, you'll probably still be fine.
Nvm i got trolled
I was thinking that you are making this up.
Would of of gone last year? You or your wife could of got the flu last year from 50 people. Big deal... I'd say she should make the decision. When do you give up doing things you enjoy doing just because you might get sick, or the government tells you you can't? Is this life in America?
Our church decided to hold service in violation of the latest government ordinance limiting gatherings in St. Louis. Most don't wear masks in the service. Three people we know of has gotten it, and it was from a contact not from the church. They stayed home, described it as a mild flu, and now are fine. They are in their 60s, and not in very good shape.
So, how much you want to buy into this media hyped fear is your business. But make no mistake, to the extent we obey or disobey the government, or how much we buy into the fear of this "crisis", will pave the road for what America will look like for future generations. Yeah, it IS that important of a question.
Dead serious. Pun intended
Not everyone that wears a mask and social distances is doing it because the government tells them to. I repeat this on every thread, but here we go again. There is no government rule against flying and yet airline traffic is WAY down because people are choosing on their own not to fly.
And you can tell all the personal stories you want about how no one gets sick and when they do it's mild and none of those stories change the fact that this disease does indeed kill people and has killed a lot. You can even discount a lot of the deaths and say they are fake news, and the numbers of dead would still be considerable. You can't change that fact.
I find it odd that anyone that isn't a sociopath would be proud of being a super spreader. So, I'm assuming you're a troll.

NO
Someone can be positive yet test negative.
Same ole liberal bs. Anyone who don't agree with you becomes a label and their opinion or experience is degraded into the fringe realm. To spread the virus around is the best way to end the virus, otherwise lockdowns and freedoms we have taken for granted will be in place forever, and taken away (just like Fauci wants). This is how it always worked until now.
People never would consider wearing a mask until the media decided to tell us to. Did we all wear masks with the other bad flu years? Did we have daily case tote boards and doom and gloom before? Mask data is whatever you want it to be, and they have switched back and forth on this one too. People die all the time in their 80s of various things. The average is only in the 70s for men anyway in the USA. The truth is death rate is very low for most of the population from this virus. Most people die of something else they already had, and then the virus becomes the evil culprit.
You work for a hedge fund or something. Gtfo on this boss having COVID parties
The earlier in your sickness you're less likely to test positive but are still contagious. Day 1 of being contagious there's almost a 100% chance you'll still show up negative. A couple days later it's still a 25% chance you'll still be negative.
So having a negative test doesn't even mean you don't have it. Likewise a positive test doesn't mean you have it, there is a real percentage that isn't very close to 0% that you'll have a false positive. The tests are kind of crap and only useful in making general assumptions of a population.
First off, this is likely a troll thread. Second, the rapid test takes 30 minutes to deliver a result. I find it unlikely that people will want to wait 30 minutes in their car before going in. Third, no boss in their right mind would set themselves up to get sued. Fourth, residences are designed with enough ventilation for the residents. Unless he is having things outdoors or opening all the windows, this is a bad idea, as even the more accurate tests (the rapid tests are notoriously inaccurate) often deliver false negatives.
Real party or not, this is a statistic wrote:

That is why it is no big deal (even if this is a troll thread).
So what if you were exposed and test negative? This is good. So what if you tested positive, this is good news, over 80% won't get sick. If you get sick your body is giving you a free covid shot and it will be like the flu in most cases! So what if you get it again? I'm sure just about everyone has had the flu twice in a season, might be a different strain or the same one. Big deal. Again, the death #s are so low compared to population. You get more tests and positives, the death rate will even look lower.
I'm sure they will roll out a real killer down the road, then people will really be freaking out if they are so easily shaken now.
I don't know what the answer is, but if I faced a dilemma like this, the first place I would turn to for advice is the LRC message board.
Thats the part I wonder about. If the government said hey going to concerts, basketball games, and eating crammed up next your 100 closest friends was OK, who are the idiots that would be doing it? Things wouldn't be remotely normal when 70%+ of the population isn't doing stupid things.....

The media, eh? Like the WHO, NIH, CDC, etc? The people that have been studying contagious diseases for decades are now "the media".
If anything "the media" gave way too much airtime to that moron in the White House, and that's why half the country thinks masks don't work, and they shouldn't wear them.
