has anyone used this and is it useful? i am looking for a training plan 12 weeks long for the mile, so should i just do weeks 1-4 twice and then finish with weeks 5-8?

Weeks 1-6 build up peak mileage with tempos and steady efforts
Weeks 7-8 long intervals, 1kss, 800s, tempos
Weeks 9-10 10x400 with 400 recovery, then next week 90 sec recovery at mile pace, and a tempo followed by 200s
Week 11 10x400 with 60 sec recovery
Week 12 pull miles down, sharpener workout with 200s at mile pace, then race
I just BS’d this out after waking up but I feel like this is basic and proven training

Yeah it's a very good training plan. I used it and brought my time from 6:32 to 5:56 in the eight weeks. I think for 12 weeks you can do weeks 1-4 twice and 5-8 for weeks 9-12, that would probably be good. good luck my dude
