I live in New York City where plastic bags are no longer used in the supermarkets I shop in. I had been re-using these bags for bagging my lunch and for lining my trash cans. What can I use now?
That's not a problem. In Oregon you can now snort cocaine legally, but it's illegal to use plastic straws.
I find it annoying (here they are charged for) because I use them for bin bags, and they are smaller and cheaper than actual bin bags, so now people are buying bin bags instead. However overall I've been told it has made a massive difference.
I suppose you can buy bin bags (biodegradable ones) for your bin, and you could get some kind of re-usable container for your lunch, maybe a Bento box?
Something like thsi:
There are much cheaper ones, that was just the first thing to show what I meant.
