Everything's been cancelled all year, nothing's gotten better, so f--- it let's eat a turkey.

You are going to Thanksgiving you say? Where is it? Can I come too?
380,000+ American humans have died due to Covid and this is what you think about? Wow.

Heck ya
GOBBLE GOBBLE MF'ers!
Seriously? Family Thanksgiving is the worst. I’ll take any excuse to skip it.
But you're going to kill Grandma.

Now what did that Turkey ever do to you. ;)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Go8Ba-BDRvEI'm doing Thanksgiving with my two sons and their girlfriends. Makes for a total of six people. They live 5 and 8 miles away from us. No big deal really. We get together for football games as well. Not really that much different.
This is why the US will end up like Rome. Why?

1) If you go to a Thanksgiving gathering with people whom you do not live with, you are an idiot. Do you love them? Do YOU want to get sick and maybe die?
2) For turkey? Turkey sucks. Slather it with gravy and it's ok, but good enough to risk your life for or the lives of others you might love? No.
3) If you love turkey so much, go make one yourself. It's super easy...just takes a long time in the oven. Big deal.
Can't emphasize this enough -- if you gather with people that you don't live with, you are a moron.

3 weeks from now: dad is on a ventilator, grandma is dead, but that plate of Turkey was worth it.
What will you stuff the turkey with?
Shari's has this thanksgiving dinner for multiple people that I am ordering (just me and my live-in roommates), it's kinda pricey, but not if you share.
It's not worth getting people sick

No. Do not cancel your flight. If you're going to get this flu, NOW might be the time to get it. For whatever reason, Americans who have gotten this flu haven't been near as sick as those in Mexico, and the CDC doesn't know why this is. Flu can come in waves, and in past pandemics, initial waves weren't as bad as later ones (best to not get it at all though). While this could turn out to be nothing more an average illness, it is still a good idea to be prudent...wash your hands frequently...use hand sanitizer...don't put your fingers in your mouth (many people are nail biters; good time to quit that disgusting habit; many people lick their fingers when eating; stop that too).

I hope the chef doesn't sneeze on it before sending it out the door. Weren't people licking stuff in stores?
Might just want to get your own frozen turkey pot pie and go that route with the roomies.
The food is cooked, but I still have to heat it, so hopefully that does the trick. Ugh.
