A little premature I think.
Especially with the running game struggling as much as it is right now. Get in a game with the Chiefs, Packers, Saints, Bucs, etc., teams with potentially great offenses, and without a running game and you give the opposing offenses just too many chances. In the current NFL, even great defenses get beat down if the other offense gets an exceptional number of possessions.
Far too early to even be humming "I've got a feeling, Pittsburgh's goin'......."

We're taking it one game at a time!

How can a non-specific and essentially meaningless exclamation be premature?

If you were a Steelers fan you would get it. And if you claim to be a fan and don't get it, then you are hardly a fan.
White QB. No thanks.
Pittsburgh’s going to the Super Bowl!
Agree that an anemic running game would give a Mahomes, Wilson, Brees, Brady....too much time on the field. Their weak schedule from here out almost looks like they could give the Fin's undefeated season a run tho.
All I can say is that I hate the time zone differences here in Australia :( Steelers fan since 1975!
Few observations: Cam Sutton is playing well, need to see what Wilkerson can do, yep need to run the ball at some point, Fitzmagic well Im still not sure if he is good as everyone says he is,
The biggest concerns are Butler and Fitchner I really am not sure if they are as good as they need.
We'll see
Go Steelers!
The Steelers could lose at Buffalo, so 15-1
The Chiefs could lose at TB, at Miami, at NO, not meaning all three but at least one, giving them 14-2, so if the Steelers get that home field advantage, it's very realistic to see them SB bound.

The home field advantage and a bye week is a distinct advantage although much less with the covid crowds. Their bye week was week 3 or 4 due to Tennessee with multiple virus-positives, so a bye week entering the playoffs would be welcomed.
Don't forget that one of the major trends under Tomlin is playing up against good teams and down versus bad teams. See Cowboys two weeks ago. That makes Jacksonville, Washington, etc. all threats to knock them off. Then there are the Bills, Colts, and Ravens which could all beat them. I am not remotely thinking undefeated but am hoping they avoid injuries and hold it together for a bye.
Cam Sutton is playing really well and Mike Hilton, one of the most underrated DB's in the league in my eyes is due back from injury this week. Now if they can get the running game going again.
I'm excited about their season so far, but I'm still not convinced they are better than the Chiefs, and if it comes down to another Steelers-Packers SB I'd be worried.
I'd much rather they get the SB than an undefeated regular season.
I'm a life-long Steelers fan, and I like our chances this year! But the lack of consistent running game has me worried.
Traveling sucks and never helps matters, home field will always be an advantage fans or not.
What teams do in the reg season is different, the intensity level totally different, knowing you're out with a loss changes everything. Look at Seattle last night, at home they beat a team that beat them a their home. And this was a playoff game, they lose twice to Arizona that hurts their playoff chances and they knew it.
If the Steelers get that home field advantage they can beat anyone.

I agree with everything, especially the final sentence. I understand just what a juggernaut NE was but definitely think home field throughout the playoffs due to 6 games a year with putrid Buffalo, NYJets, & Miami certainly padded their route most years. I wonder what the AFC East combined record, excluding NE, was during the NE run? Well below .500 I would guess.
10-0.
The juggernaut keeps rolling . . . . It's Nation Time!

Thinking that they are SB bound just because they may get the Chiefs at home seems like a stretch.

A stretch?! They're undefeated. Winning easy. Got Division locked up. Can rest personal from here out if needed. What more do you want?
