What school size are you specifying?
-
I'll take Brynn Brown in a course record, if she races. If not, I'll take her to run the fastest 5K of the day during her off-season tempo workout.
-
Grapevine will win 5A boys
-
Grapevine's normal 5th runner didn't run at regionals..... so my money is on Boerne Champion
Quarantine? Failing classes? Injuries? -
Quick question. Were Regionals 2 weeks ago? Curious how Judson Greer could runt he Indiana meet this past weekend.

Most 4A regionals were Tuesday 11/10..
2 week break between Regional and State Meets -
El Paso Eastwood will win boys 6A.
They lost to Southlake Carroll by only 3 points at regions, but Eastwood have a big 4-5 gap because one of their regular top 5 guys had an off day. -

I would watch out for Klein High School in 6A. I think they are gonna have their ace up their sleeve ready to go. With him in the line up 100% they would of beat The Woodlands
-
Looks like Klein will be missing their #2 guy Posada according to the entries I posted earlier.
That said, they have 2 sophs that really improved from last year and are now scoring for them. So they are definitely a darkhorse if their top 5 run to the best of their ability. -
Also if their sophomore Mendez was not so far behind their #4, they would have beaten the Woodlands. He was actually their #3-4 in most of the races. So without Posada, they still have a very solid top 5.

They (EW) were way up on SLC with 600 left .. #4 guy went down, got back up but went from 12th to 126th..
They will be tough , but SLC may be better back down at low altitude.. Seems like it will be same as past few years, EW, SLC and The Woodlands competing for best in TX, now that EW is back in 6A -

Klein will be up with those teams if their fab 5 are on. They are best Klein team in as long as I can remember. -
Judson Greer will win 4A. Martin David-Chavez will win 6A.

Is Texas the only state in the country now that still thinks girls' ovaries will fall out if they run too far??

I think the larger schools run 5K -
Yes, I know that. But are there any other states that still run a shorter distance for girls regardless of the classification? Most of the states that were running 4k have gone to 5k now. I am legitimately asking if there are other states that still run 2 miles or 4k instead of 5k for girls.

Times are waaaaaay to quick this y ear. It's not just a case of great weather, or athletes being THAT much better than previous years.
