So not one runner in the sub13:30 race has sub-13:30 credentials and not one runner in the sub-13"15 race has sub-13"15 credentials. I doubt that will change.

Does anyone know if this is cancelled now due to LA being locked down??? Also if it goes on, will there be a livestream?
All that know him, knows he doped in Ethiopia. This old, below average conference runner went to his homeland for 6 weeks and came back to run 13:22. Usada started chasing him, he started skipping races until clean and DNF at outdoor 2019 championships.

Rojo, I am assessing the top 10000 women’s field here to get a top 5. I’ll have it done soon after the Delhi half tomorrow.
I am about half way through and so far Brenda Flores of Mexico ahead of Elaina Tabb then Kellyn Taylor and Laura Thweatt. The other half may change things. Alia Gray among them as well.

race got moved to arizona, don't know exactly where though
No chance Fischer breaks 27:30, and I wouldn’t put Riley as a maybe, he’s definitely better than or as good as Jenkins/ Tiernan / Day / McDonald if he’s anywhere near trials shape. Also, Thompson has better PRs than listed iirc.
Interested to see how Anthony Rotich does, he was running really well, I could see him under 27:30

Spoiler alert, he's not actually injured he just wants to redshirt another season.

One thing for sure: Laura Galvin takes 60-90 sec off a PB of 34.43.

One thing for sure: who cares.
How can a question be a certainty? You asked the question, "who cares?", and failed to use proper punctuation. There are many people who will answer your question that they care and there are many that will answer that they don't care. I think you need an English lesson. Did you attend a D2 college?

I attended a better D1 school and running program than you did and that’s for sure. Nobody cares about women’s running on this thread.

For the sub-13:15 race, similarly, no one in hte field has broken 13:30 .
Classic Rojo.
You should have stated that then instead of asking the question. And you are incorrect. Shelby Houlihan will garner some interest.
Your certainty on things is very questionable. How could you know that you went to a better school than me and it had a better team? Did you go to Stanford? I still beat you on being on a better team most years. If not Stanford, my school is probably better than yours also.

I don’t get it. Why do distance fans not care about half the athletes?

Might be apples to oranges here but it’s somewhat similar to why people care more about the NBA opposed to the WNBA

I understand it in basketball but I think women’s distance running is more spectacular than the men. The gap in athleticism is less between genders than between born in East Africa v elsewhere, IMO.
I dont really understand your comment.
Name one woman that could win a single serious mens running race the past 10 years.
Bridgid Kosgei is OTHER WORLDLY. She is an insane athlete. She is more of an outlier than Eliud Kipchoge. However, what world marathon majors would she win? The 2019 world championship (run in 85 degrees) was won in 2:10. Callum Hawkins (a non-east african runner) was 15 seconds behind the winner.
Galen Rupp won a bronze medal in the olympics and he won chicago. He is not east african.
There is a WAY bigger gap between mens and womens running than between East african and non-east african running. White people win medals in mens races. A woman could not win a medal in a mens race.
