Brett Favre was a play away from making it to the Super Bowl with the Vikings after his Packers career was over.
And he had his best single season QB rating with the Vikings.
And was done in by bountygate in that game. I did not have a rooting interest in that game (great game), but I was like "holy f*ck" they are pounding Favre and the refs are letting them! But you see, the NFL loved the Saints Hurricane Katrina story, and let it go. They penalized the Saints later, after they didn't have a choice.
I was confused by the Favre comparisons. I'd agree, his worst season was his 2nd one with the Vikings but remember, he didn't want to play that year after being beat to shi*t by the Saints and their cheating ways. That Vikings team was great, just missing the SB by a couple plays to again, the Saints who were cheating.
Brady can still turn it around, Tampa Bay is still a solid team. Just recently Rodgers had a bad game against the Vikings and Wilson had a rough game just this week against the Bills. Wilson also had a 3 pick game a few weeks back. Everyone can have a bad game, it's how they bounce back. And with the NFL being 1 and done in the playoffs, it is just a matter of getting hot at the right time.
I wouldn't bet against Brady just yet.
