He had a great opportunity to retire on top after winning the Super Bowl a few years ago. Will his love for the game lead to painful end to his career where he keeps declining and/or gets injured into retirement?
It always makes me sad when great athletes go this route, even though I know they love the game and probably just want to see how long they can keep going
Is Tom Brady going to be Brett Favre 2.0?

He going to leave his wife for AB first. -
Brady QBR of 3.8 for today's game.
NOT a horribly lowly 38.
A 3 point 8. -
Besides Barry Sanders and Jim Brown, who else retired while playing at the top of their game? You may say Michael Jordan's 1st retirement.
-
Sandy Koufax

Few go out on top....
Calvin Johnson. 88 catches for 1200+ yards and 9 touchdowns for the Lions in 2015. Retired after that season.
John Elway won superbowl, and superbowl mvp, and retired a few months later.
Peyton Manning won a superbowl and retired, but he got really lucky that year as his skills had really declined. Mostly carried by a good defense. -

Prefrontaine was pretty close to the top of his game when he ended his career. -
Don't forget El G.

Probably more like Montana 2.0. Don't think Tom's dik pix will be showing up on anyone's phone, don't think he'll be "undecided" on retirement for multiple offseasons, don't think he'll be a jerk to an heir apparent rookie QB. He might sign on to endorse copper underwear, though.

Herb Elliot retired more or less undefeated. -
He is living with too many children now since he adopted Antonio brown and let him move in. I made 10 grand on the saints last night very easy money because I knew the Bucs are overrated. They will continue to win the easy games and be overrated and then beat down by best teams and called a one off bad game by the fake news media. The saints are in their head they are their daddy and the Bucs know it and fear them. The bucs slammed greenbay because greenbay is weak too and can not beat top physical teams see nfc game vs 49ers last year. Bucs need to pray they do not see the saints or a healthy (unlikely) 49ers team in the playoffs. Other teams that would smash them are steelers ravens chiefs.

The Packers beat the Saints in week 3. -

This might be the worst take I’ve ever seen. They had a bad game, that’s it -
The Saints were preseason favorites to win a Superbowl by several experts. They got back several key players prior to last night's game. The stars lined up last night for the Saints. Brady had a bad game. The Bucs will bounce back.

Brett Favre was a play away from making it to the Super Bowl with the Vikings after his Packers career was over.
And he had his best single season QB rating with the Vikings. -

MJ retired on top twice. -

The very last season Favre played was the only one where it looked like he fell off a cliff. All at once it looked like age caught up with him. So I guess I agree with you in general that Favre wasn't the prototype of a guy who hung on too long. -

And was done in by bountygate in that game. I did not have a rooting interest in that game (great game), but I was like "holy f*ck" they are pounding Favre and the refs are letting them! But you see, the NFL loved the Saints Hurricane Katrina story, and let it go. They penalized the Saints later, after they didn't have a choice.
