Just wondering because at 26 I'm starting to feel older already. College kids seem immature and obnoxious to me now, even though looking back I was just like them in 2013. Man, getting old sucks.

You sound old.
Probably once you hit like 35-36 you can kind of definitively see where you want to go with life. But you can still consider yourself young by all means it is subjective really.

I usually say your 20s are for finding yourself. Once you hit 30 you need to have some direction.
You’re 26 so 20 year old college students should be annoying & seem immature to you. I’m sure when you are 60 26 year olds will seem naive & immature.
You are young until 40. Then it is time to have some fun as should have money, kids, and a wife.

At 40 you are at the old age of youth, at 50 you are at the youth of old age
40

I agree with this. 25 is still very young to me. 18-24 I basically see “children”
Not sure but I can tell you from experience that when you hit your fifties, you’ll likely still feel young in a lot of ways. But then you’ll realize that everyone else looks at you as just an old man :-(
So enjoy these days ... 26-39 are great years.
I would say 60. Some 60 year olds are still active, healthy.
OP, Everyone older than me is old and everyone younger is young.
I'm turning 57 in a few weeks and don't feel any older than I did when I was 40. Back then I "ran" but didn't do structured training and races until I was pushing 50 and my marathon times are still going down.
You are asking what age is no longer considered young by most so this is not completely on topic.
I read the following which seems to hold pretty firm with most peole I know and it is that people consider "old" 15 years older than their age. A 15 year old considers 30 old. A 30 year old considers 45 old. A 60 year old considers 75 old..............

Perfect. With the physical in mind. Somewhere in my 50's I had t to start to 'fight the good fight", there's no winning exactly," Use it or lose it" is true just for basic quality of life fitness , you are going to lose it no matter what but you have to hold on. Sure I wasn't quite as physical through the 40 's as was the case as a young man but the only reason a 40-50 year old with normal functioning can't be pretty fit for anything is because he won't put in the work..
Late 50's now and If I am not moderately sore most of the time I am not" using" it enough to be "fighting the good fight" and so, "losing it".
there for losing it.
Socially and mentally you can continue to improve and enjoy yourself as much as ever or more except sex will decline. It's nice to know you are too damn old for most females sometimes. Young people start to be more kind and helpful , gently even. Every step towards the grave is less competition and less pressure. you can become more empathetic and understanding except for people who drive like maniacs on the freeway, patience for that gets way worse.
Poor editing your posts, however, does not improve.
In the book, Logan's run everyone had to die at age 21.
In the movie it was age 30.
So, somewhere in between there is where youthfulness ends.
If there are people you find physically attractive who are younger than your children, you're old.
Really depends on your mindset and how well you've taken care of yourself. And your reference point of hope.
If your reference point of hope is still in the low end, meaning you have a ton of hopes and wishes left, you probably feel more youthful. But once you stop chasing ambitions you age faster.

Depends on what. you are looking. Athletic performance? Under 20 is young. 20-30 is prime time. 30-35 is old. And 35+ is geezer time:) Want to be POTUS? 50 is young. 60-75 is prime. And 75+ is geezer time....

Huh? I'm on the short side of 60 and healthy but literally falling apart with running. Decades of competitive running has led me to the trash heap. Chronic injuries, big time injuries (tendon/ligament ruptures), post-traumatic osteoarthritis, etc., has limited me to barely 12 mpw and no more racing. I walk with a limp the day after a run and need some help in getting around the house. And I have an on-going prescription for a pain killer to get through bad pain days. ?
I would say by age 50, you're no longer considered youthful in terms of running. So many of my training partners & competitors of the old days pretty much blew up in their 50s with most giving up running entirely. You've got to have some pretty damn good genetics and a lot of luck to be running competitively in your 50s.
