M, 43, 6'1, 185ish
Goals - get fit, lose weight, spring marathon (if they even happen)
M - 5
T - 4.5 hills, 1.8k swim, Strength Training
W - 7
T - 6.5 w/ 3 tempo (6:45ish), 1.7k Swim
F - am 4.5 hills, Strength Traning, pm 5.5
S- 5
S - 12 long tempo (7:10 avg)
Total - 50 miles, 3.5k Swim
Slowly stringing together some decent weeks now and sprinkling in a bit more quality. Sunday's LR found me feeling the best yet since coming back from this SR. Thought about slowing the pace down but it felt comfortably moderate so just decided to roll with it and see how it went. Definitely a good sign 8 weeks post injury and while still carrying too much weight.
I think I want to keep moving up to around 60-70mpw, hang out there for the majority of winter, and then build into a April/May marathon if I can find one.
