I use it for running, biking and swimming.
Frankly I don’t notice a difference between paying and not paying in the week since my subscription ended.

The only difference I see is that I can’t see the leaderboards without a paid subscription.
I would probably pay for it if a subscription got access for a family. Doesn't make sense for my wife and I to both buy it for the minimal value add it provides.
I went to the free version and see no difference. I dont care about being on a leader board or "winning" strava segments or any of that stuff.
That’ll show em’!
I stopped my subscription a while back, set up a free Runalyze account, tracks mileage, gives me feedback on training metrics etc.

Is it possible to import your data from Strava?
I don't know, mine automatically uploads from my Garmin.
There is some information on this help page
My wife appreciates the live track feature to make sure I'm not dead in a ditch somewhere. We've tried using google maps and whatsapp location sharing, but those don't work as well or update frequently. I use the route builder tool on mobile, it's much better than any of the other options out there.
I also enjoy segment sniping, so the leaderboards are useful.

I got rid of cable tv years ago. Now MILLIONS of people have followed me and the cable companies are really getting worried.

Thank you.
LIES! How else are you going to be the ultimate hobby jogger if you dont pay for strava?
What’s a Strava?

Top 10 leaderboard is still there, so time to just get faster
A lot of runners are cheap AF and they will complain about paying a small fee for a simple service. You see it once again with strava charging for a sub. It is their product and they have the right to charge for use. The whiners just sound really lame and broke.
Strava membership or letsrun VIP membership - which is better and more worth the money?
