Hi all,
I like to hear what was your best running shoe purchases for 2020 were, mine were:
Saucony Endorphin speed: Just got mine about a week ago. Fantastic fast versatile running shoe. Cushioned, breathable upper and lovely in black.
2nd place Asics Novablast for those cushioned and fun bouncy runs, not the most stable. And a close second Reebok Symmetros - firm, great transition, stable and responsive and versatile.
Cheers
Steve

I agree with your first pick. Also like the Pro
-
I agree with the speed and Novabalst.
Also would like to add NB beacon V3 and Fuelcell TC.
Novablast is the most fun to run in with the bounce. -
My new balance propels are made in vietnam.
-
The Atreyu are the best. my $55 subscription is a great deal and the shoes are everything a boy needs as a trainer. They are light weight, simple and look great. They are reminiscent of the Nike Lunar Tempo/Racer from the 2012-2015.

Two very different shoes, but I'll say the Endorphin Speed and the Skechers GoRun Ride 8. Both are excellent.
-
Endorphin Speed
There are many great new shoes this year, but the speed is so versatile. -
NB 890v7.

nikes shoes look the best nocap
-
Hoka Rincon--great balance of weight and cushioning

Lmao they are not made in the US. The 990 USED to be made here and then they changed the standards for the "Made in the US label". The accurate way to present the 990 is to say that 70% is ASSEMBLED in the US. That's the threshold for that designation but to put that front and center would lose a good amount of 990 loyalists. Keep on trucking with your outdated mostly produced outside the country garbage shoe. -
Hoka Rincon versions 1 and 2

Reebok FFE 2.0. Pretty much the perfect everyday shoe imo. Although my knees really hurt for the first 30 miles or so. Glad I stuck it out.
Endorphin Speed is decent too. -
I've run in a lot of shoes this year, two stand out;
Atreyu Base Model - simple, light, stable, makes your foot and leg work, gives you back what you put into it. Amazingly simple shoe that is near perfect.
Adidas Boston 9 - a classic old school marathon flat feel, never was a fan of boost but the amount and combo of light strike work here, possibly the best outsole on any shoe, period. -
The Reebok FFE 2 (the upper on the 1 gave me blisters) and the hoka rincons
-
Without a doubt, finding Infinity Reacts (my favorite E day shoe) for 100.00 USD on Eastbay with free shipping!
-
Adidas SL20 and Boston 9 - The outsole just won't die. Each lasted well over 1000 miles, and the only reason I threw them out was because the uppers were torn to shreds. The SL20 is firmer (no Boost) but narrower. Both are buttery smooth on the roads and decent on dirt. White and pink colorways were great.
Asics DS Trainer 24 - Got a few pairs at an Asics outlet sale. Firm and about as smooth as the above, but with a slightly lower drop. The upper is thick and durable but doesn't offer the same lockdown, and the outsole is of similar quality to the Adidas, although its hardness limits the ride quality.
Nike Streak 7 - Amazing workout shoe. Smooth, snappy ride, the only con was its poor off-road performance , so I returned it for...
Adidas Adios 5 - A faster Boston. Snappy and maintains its performance on dirt, the Boost in the heel is a godsend on longer tempos.
Nike Mamba 5 - The best spikes. The plate transitions incredibly well. -
First time in a Salming shoe, the Miles Lite, really like these. $99
Brooks Hyperion Tempo. $150 . Favorite but overpriced imho.
2021 no shoe’s over $100. Two shoe rotation, no carbon plates since I don’t race.
Probably a Sketcher(unless the Hyperion goes on sale) and another Salming. -
NB FUELCELL REBEL

nike zoom wildhorse 6!
in addition to the training miles, raced old cascadia 50 (a race in 2020!) on october 10, then did the rim 2 rim 2 rim traverse of the grand canyon this past saturday.
comfort, react foam, and great traction in wildly differing weather conditions FTW.
