Hey man, first off congrats on getting this far in building the game. Very smooth and no glaring bugs when I was trying my best break it.
Some of the comments I have are:
- In the elite races, the bots seem to do better so when I was in a pack drafting behind someone a racer that I could not see behind me would just run right into me and not much I could do (so I would spin out). Almost wish there was a way to see behind you either there's a foot step indicator(kinda like in real racing you can hear someone behind you most of the time) or something else. I was only able to finish the elite race once, kinda hard when you would get spun out and have to use a decent bit of energy to get back into the race. I think with this indicator it might have made it a tiny bit easier.
- Like a few comments, the running into someone was tough when you would all of sudden just make a left or right hand turn. I know that's half of the game but definitely something that can be tweaked.
- There were a few spots on the course that slowed my character down even when I was "on course" that I felt shouldnt have. Like the track. When you get close to the inside it slowed my character at time so giving a bigger buffer there might solve it.
Also if you are looking for more help in building this project would love to be part of it! Been a developer for 8 years and have always been fascinated by game design although I haven't had much experience in that department.
