But she probably collects some nice bonuses from Saucony.

Pro-Life Trump is blessed by God and Biden is not.
This thread is a perfect example of why decent runners don't bother with this site any longer.

^This ... I only counted 10 posts in the entire thread about her running.
Just think how much this site would improve if they just required people to have registered accounts.

You're delusional. I've read a couple of the registered only threads and they are no different than the others.
If you REALLY wanted an "improved" site then require names and addresses of all the posters. The nine willing to do that could have a nifty civil time.
8 of the posts on this thread by REGISTERED members were NOT about Molly Huddle. Two other posts by REGISTERED members denigrated her run.
You might want to reconsider the organization you have affiliated yourself with.
Well done Molly!

it's denigrating her run to point out that she is setting records that are 6 minutes off the world record?
Molly Huddle is a super talented runner. Why should we pretend to be impressed by less than impressive times (relatively)
Are you more impressed with a publicity stunt that Des Linden did? A mileage stunt where time was not a variable? To prove it was a stunt Des came to NY to do her last mileage day. This screams look at me. Why. did she try to steal attention away from athletes trying to do their virtual runs?
Molly did something that no other American woman has ever done before. Molly earns respect.
I generally have positive feelings towards Molly, but this is very far from one of her stronger races. She's a 67:25 half marathoner, and she just ran a bit over 11 miles at 70:36 half marathon pace. I'd be shocked if she didn't get these records. I'm sure it's always nice to get a national record or 3, but she would have had to hold this pace for another 15.08 miles to just edge out what Sara Hall did in strong rain in London by 49 seconds. And, Sara didn't even make our Olympic marathon team. These records are beatable by at least a dozen other US women.

she did something that is basically a good marathon training session. I'm not even aware of the des linden thing.
people criticize farah's 1 hour record, but at least that was a really good time--this is just so unimpressive.
Really Trumpster dumpster. You hate blacks too ?
And these three marks mean exactly nothing for her professional career. You can put them in the same drawer as all her NCAA titles. She's not going to make the O team in the 5k or 10k and her marathon career never went anywhere. So, great, she set three, more minor/obscure American records.
I'm confused how did she set the 10 mile record in 5:23 pace when Americans have run Half marathons at a faster clip????
People are whoever you believe them to be. They can never be more. It is impossible.
You can't just take a race pace and apply it to a shorter distance.

Agree that her marathon career is so far a disappointing surprise as I thought she would be one of America's greatest marathon ever, although a 3rd place at NYC is still damn impressive. However, what makes you think she won't make the 10K team? I have her as a lock along with Emily Sisson. In the 5K the odds are small with Schweizer and Houlihan as locks but I don't think she will attempt the 5K anyway. Who do yo see beating her at 10K besides possibly Sisson and Sara Hall?
Schweizer.
Great run by Molly. She has clearly been putting the work in.
