This IS a great thread, is the type I thought I'd not see again on LR. And yeah, having only one troll is pretty good, considering.
I posted up thread but another tip for the young ones is this--you slow down mentally as you get older, this is a fact. But, you waste less time thinking dumb things. I've found when I was younger I could just think dumb stuff quicker, which doesn't seem much of an advantage.
Regarding your information, always remember the medium shapes the message. Be careful of your media, it shapes the kind of message you can receive and through doing, the kinds of ideas and information you digest, and the ways they are expressed. Books are better, in many ways. Aim for a balance, try very hard not to receive all your information from a screen. This is the wisest thing I think I know how to express
