Another Makhloufi session prior to the workout being discussed:
1200m (2.44.65)
12 min rest
600m (1.22.70)
2.30min rest
600m (1.23.65)
Evidence for that session? The 2:44 1200m would be among the fastest known ever to be run. Of course, he did eventually run 3:28 high twice.

Evan Scully, the trainer filming that workout, insisted that he was absolutely clean.
I corresponded a bit with Evan. He has overcome some amazing challenges himself and I have good reason to trust his character; it's not like he was getting rich from staying quiet. And he saw nothing in all his time with Makhloufi - 3 of them in training camps for months - that made him suspicious.
Whether, years on in the twilight of his career, he has strayed from the right path to try to stay at the top for longer....who knows?
I think it is far more likely someone doped from year 1 rather than started doping in the twightlight of the career. Yeah that is the excuse everyone gives but I doubt it. If you are ok being a cheater at 30, you. are ok being a cheater at 25.
As far as someone knowing, how suspicious was he of the other Aden athletes who were doping? Did he think they were all dirty and Makhloufi was clean? Or were they. all clean?

I am willing to bet that pretty much every 3:32. type guy could run a 2:44. Nobody does cause. it isn't a race distance. We are basically talking about 1500m pace (slightly faster) which is definitely hard but doable. And then the 600s are at a slightly faster pace.
Personally it is the type. of workout that I don't have a good feel for. I don't think I have every done 12 mins of rest:). I have run 1000m at mile pace but then I only did 400-300-200 off ~3 mins rest. It was hard and obviously running those extra 200ms really amps up the difficulty.
What exactly are you on? EPO in the morning, crack and alcohol in the evenings?
The only 'evidence' you have of athletes like Ovett etc. doping is your own regular as clockwork juiced Africans getting busted, which apparently 'proves' (unless you are a racist!) that every European must dope too.
