UVA, Duke, Cuse, Unc w brutal days. Ratcliffe has DNF’d multiple times this year which is wild. Wake w an amazing day.
DEACS ON THE RISE!
On the women’s side big day for GA Tech, awful day by ND.
NC State wins easily despite Chmiel and Zachgo fading badly - losing 10 and 30 places last 1.3 k). Sasha Neglia ran well again for UNC, Savannah Shaw was 70th for NC State. They will need Tuohy and Starliper for NCAA meet.

Curious, Are you saying this by looking at times or did you see the race? Just looking at times, UVA almost all had good days (could’ve nipped Wake if gone perfectly), Cuse was just flat, and Wake was great, especially given they aren’t full strength. ND’s frosh put the nails in the coffin for anyone thinking they might not have the depth this year.
UVA was good my mistake. Just wake was great

This was Julia Zachgo’s first race of the season I believe. Nice to see that she’s racing again.

Anyone know what happened to Syracuse on the mens side?

They all got out fast (2.1k split) and faded badly, looks like they tried to hang with ND and got burned. JP Trojan is usually up top, faded to 50th (49pts). If he has a good day, they are right there with wake and uva.
lol boston college gonna boston college
No matter how you look at it, this is DISMAL by UVA men. They lost to Wake Forest....WAKE FOREST. Vin Lanana doesn't have what it takes anymore.
Syracuse ran bad too, they've been in a downward spiral since Fox left.

Sounds like your really downplaying the improvements Wake has made in the past 3-4 years
Wake Forest's run is even more impressive considering Jack Tiernan, their top guy this fall, was only their #5 today in 31st place.
wake has been slept on for a while they actually have a very good team. UVA almost had a great day but looks like their 5th or 6th guy shid the bed a bit

Yep. And they didn't even run their top two guys who are in Europe. I've known coach John Hayes for a while and he told me he'd get it done at Wake when he started and I was skeptical. Now after this, I'm starting to be a believer.
But can we all admit now what I said on the podcast a few months ago is correct? Nuguse will make the Olympic team in 2021.

If Wakes #1 runner was in the mix getting anywhere from 1st-3rd individually, they still would of gotten 3rd but only a few points off from 2nd
Pretty sure I said as much like two years ago.

Wake had a good race. But the truth is that there's no circumstance in which UVA should EVER lose to Wake. UVA has far more resources, lower admissions standards, lower tuition, and a hall of fame coach in Lanana.
Congrats to the Syracuse SID Tyler Cady for the quick turn around on ESPN.
