Thyroid meds are about allowing the body to recover and heal quicker after hard training.
Take for example a long run on Sunday. That will leave a natural athlete with fatigue, lower hormonal level, and soreness. He will need an easy day on Monday to recover.
An athlete on thyroid hormones will recover quicker from the Sunday long run and will do an easy run on Monday morning and be ready for a hard workout by Monday afternoon.
Multiple that by a year!
Why do you have so little respect for science?
Taking thyroid injections when you dont need them is a recipe for disaster.
But then you are probably just trolling anyway, so what's the point?
You have to remember these people have not taken a basic anatomy and physiology course. They don’t understand that having too much of any hormone has negative effects.
Look up hyperthyroidism and ask yourself if that’s worth the risk, folks!!
