$0. Won them by winning my age group in a 10 mile race. This was a long time ago.
I've snagged several pairs of Vomero and Structure for$29 or $39 in recent years at Marshalls or Ross.

Getting free gear for almost a decade because I had a sponsorship deals. Also, a very long time ago.
$0 for the Brooks Hyperion Elite 2 so saved $250
I’ve gotten plenty of free shoes through having some connection but the pair for $20 available to anyone at that time was the best “deal”.
$0 when I had a Nike contract
Best price and cheapest are actually different things.
I have gotten a number of really really cheap running shoes that I did not like and retired early. i.e. sketchers Go Run Ultra for $16 that I wore for roughly 20 miles before I retired them.
Nike Pegasus at $35 is the best price I have paid, though not the cheapest. I bought 6 pairs at $35 each and got roughly 600 miles out of each!
1. A free pair of Salomon trail shoes at a running group
2. $25 or so for a pair of Brooks Cascadia, they were returns at REI and there was an unexpected huge discount on top of the reduced price.
Nike Zoom Victory 3 Rio spikes for $15 at Marshall's
Man Kohl’s had the ASICS Gt-2000 for like $25/pop with some deal back in 2012. I bought like 4 pairs.

I remember this well because my dad called me to tell me he snagged the last 3 pairs at his local Kohls. ..I mean he legit used my Mothers cell phone from the store to call me and tell me about this deal he was so excited. Keep in mind he was 70 years old at the time!
Thanks for the memories of that moment!
Running shoes:
Snagged a pair of newest model New Balance Minimus at TJ Maxx for $15. They were mens shoes in the womens department and on clearance. I wound up flipping them and profiting $65
Several great deals on ebay.
The absolute best deal ever was brand new, latest version of whatever Tiger Woods model Nike golf shoes. At Ross, $25 a pair. They were retailing for like $130 to $150.
I bought 10 pairs...then drive to the Ross 15 miles away and picked up 8 more pairs (note that I had no idea if they would have them as they have no real inventory system to speak of). Wound up selling each thru CL and Ebay and estimate I profited $75 a pair. THAT was a great find..and in the 3 or 4 years since then, I've yet to find anything close to that deal.
Streak LT’s for $30
Zoom Fly FK’s for $40
I've probably gotten at least 12-15 free pairs over the years.

That's not free. I assume you paid an entry fee, spent gas money driving to the race, spent your time training for and running the race. Those are all costs that went into "winning" those shoes.
Next% for 40€. Clearance sale
I got a once-worn pair of Nike Streaks for $40
Got free pairs from time to time from shoe rep when I worked at a store.
