and here they come, right on cue - the Johnny Cochrane doper defense team - here to exonerate their clients with simplistic, remedial logic that even though isn't relevant to the case, is deflective enough to get us away from the topic.
Nice try f#$khead.

+1
Sometimes I wonder if SG is somehow in on this stuff

I didn't defend Makhloufi or any doper.
I only used your logic.
But nice try fvckhead.
Just because he used it (or not) doesn't mean doping provides any benefits.

It’s apparent that any of us with half a brain, let alone with elite/semi-elite experience are “in on this”. The miraculous performances...then disappearing for years at a time...only to reappear as good as before. Even Aden wouldn’t claim him as his athlete in London. That should tell you something right there. The rumors have been around for a long time now. Perhaps the Brojos should consider doing some journalism and contact Coach DuPont for comment?

Would be interesting to see a Venn Diagram of those condemning Makhloufi here and yet defending Salazar.
The path for Centro moving to Bronze in 2012.
Centro's Gold in 2016 is one of my all time favorite events.
But I am very suspicious of Salazar.
Would we get to trade Centro being the first American to win 1500m Gold for Manzano?
I'd take it but it doesn't change the excitement I felt when Centro held Makhloufi off in 216.
Just watched the TV section from Sunday on "Stade 2" aaand no illegal substances found. Syringes, amino acids (!!!!) and a few other nutritional complements, but no smoking gun. Not surprising as the bags have been there since March. Looks like this is the last we'll hear of this.

You'll need to wait until the French investigation turns up something.
Then my defense will be to explain what they found.

If they found no illegal substances, nothing's going to happen here. Even if they found EPO/steroids, tying it to him would be difficult. But if it's merely doping "paraphernalia" with legal substances, I think nothing will happen here. Makhloufi worked with Aden and has a very suspicious competition pattern. He's just overall somewhat suspect, but this story doesn't really impact my view of him much at all.
Maflouki is famous for suddenly appearing for the Olympics and then going into hiding for a few years. I'm pretty sure he was doing more then sipping mint tea and watching the sunset over the Atlas mountains during those years

Heaven knows, every 1500m runner needs a bag of syringes.

Why would tying it to him be difficult? I'm sure the French police are competent enough to establish whether the bag is his. If there was any peds in it, he will be suspended by the IAAF for possession of peds.
I wouldn't get too excited just yet at the thought of the dirty cheat being in the clear and stealing other athlete's medals again in Tokyo next year. This might just be the start of a proper and overdue investigation into Big Mac. And just because they haven't found any bags of EPO, perhaps they can find traces of it on the syringe or such after forensics. I read in one article that they found substances commonly used by dopers to flush EPO out of the system.
Fake news. Nothing to see here. Mak is every bit innocent as bobblehead paula, doorbell mo, elfie rupp, beet juice hasay, roid rage rowbury, roid chacne centro. Never tested positive. Innocent until proven guilty.
Close to nothing at the moment still some posters hyperventilate already.
You know how when you go to the airport, they ask you whether your bags have been in your possession at all times? Well, if Makh Daddy was in South Africa when they found the bag in his room at the training center, even with his identification inside, they won't be able to prove that it was his stuff unless they have something like receipts. Then too, syringes alone won't do it, because you can get B-12 and vitamin injections, as well as "B-12 injections" and "vitamin injections" like in the Aden camp (which Makhloufi used to be part of), as described by the late David Torrence. But if they found Makh Daddy blood in a used syringe with EPO, that just might do it. A signed purchase order for EPO might do it too. It all depends. He may still run in Tokyo, but we'll have to see.

So what's my logic again?- since you seem to know what it is. That Makhloufhi came from complete oblivion to win an Olympic gold medal in a traditionally very competitive event that he made look very uncompetitive, all the while being involved with a coach who was arrested for having a refrigerator full of drugs at a training camp he was running? That logic?
I still don't even understand why on any level you would pick a fight here. Just f$#k off, seriously. Troll.

No opinion either way here, but if you get caught with PEDs in France, you go to jail. Last country an athlete wants to be busted with actual drugs on them.
There's a reason Lance moved from France to Spain.
Exactly. Would need lab tests to determine what the substances are and blood/DNA samples to link Makh Daddy to them. Otherwise looks too much like a set up.
