It is not really winter yet, it will be 3-5 degrees celsius where he lives, and no snow, etc, which are pretty good running conditions.
A number of good ultra marathoners will be running with him.

This is just sad. Kilian is doing this 24 hour run as a pure publicity stunt to draw attention to himself and his sponsors in a time of no races... and so Sage decides to hop on Kilian's cape and make a video to try to get himself some likes/publicity from Kilian trying to get publicity?
Sage - why not try to accomplish something yourself and talk about that. You make yourself look pathetic here. Seriously. Grab some confidence and go out and achieve something yourself and post about that. Even watching your video about your terrible 10k is better than resorting to you plugging Kilian's brand.

+1
Sage is pathetic. I've completely forgotten he exists since the last time I saw one of his videos, about 2 years ago.

I'm no sage fan boi, but he does have a pretty good following on YouTube about running. So of course he would give his thoughts on this event. It would be like a NFL podcast giving their thoughts on the Superbowl or something.

Well, except that's not what he does on his channel. Go ahead and go to his YouTube channel and tell me how many previous video's he's similarly recorded talking about other ulra-runners and their races? Yup, just one. And guess who he talked about? Only one video, a month ago, where he talked again about Kilian Jornet and his 10k road race. You'll also note that both the videos he talked about Kilian got significantly more views then other videos. For example, his Kilian 24 hour video has already had 25K views while the next most recent video to get anything near that number of views - correct - the video about Kilian's 10k got 34k views.
I guess we can all expect to see more video's from sage where he talks about Kilian instead of himself, as he's learned that's what people are actually interested in.
Every good youtuber does that. If you have 10k subscribers, the best way to get to 100k is to talk about or be involved with another youtuber who already has a million subs. Can't get subs if nobody knows about you.
Why all the hate towards Sage. I don't get it. It's just a couple trolls with multiple identities?

You may not realize it, but you've just given the single most dead-on description of LetsRun.com ever made.
I foresee a scenario where KJ doesn’t finish. He falls off pace and abandons the attempt between 75 and 85 miles. His body won’t know what to do on a flat surface with nothing to look at.

Sounds about right. He will not doing the full 24 hours and end up with 138 miles.
Kilian had plenty to look at the first time he tried a legit flat race: the backs of 20 club level Norwegians.
Kilian has already done two track practices running 52 miles and 31 miles. He's ready.

Did he measure those practices with a yardstick and hourglass like he did for the practice "10Ks" that were a "minute" faster than he was actually capable of on a legit measured and timed course?

I wonder how many guys have run better than 29:59 the first time they tried a 10k?

It's on the Starva. Maybe you can blow up the screenshot and count the laps yourself.

Thousands? Including plenty of women and children. At least 50 American high school kids.
There are probably thousands of East Africans who have never run slower than 29:59. Anyway, KJ claims to have run many faster 10Ks in training, so it isn't like he was a novice at the distance.

Tried to find Starva, but had no luck. Anyway, isn't KJ notorious for turning off the uplink in the middle of a training run or Everest attempt?
@walk n jog: get a life, loser.
