How do you balance cardio and leg day without overtraining?
You do 2-3 strength sessions a week and don't make lifting a priority
Any day you're doing a workout you should be able to add either a strength session or a lifting session afterward. That is how I have been doing it for the last 5+ yrs of running. Two workouts a week with 1 lifting and 1 strengthening session.
