Renato, I hope you see this and you are doing well. I have a question for you. I was reading an old thread where you talked about workouts to improve lactate clearance. One such workout was 3x3000m with 4-5minutes recovery between at 2-3% slower than 5k pace. The example given was of Haile Gebrselassie who would have theoretically ran the 3000m reps in around 7:43 assuming he was in 12:39 5000m shape.
My question is this: Do you alter the prescribed paces to take altitude into account? Or are these workouts only done at sea level?
I currently live and train at 7500ft and have done for 5years and was curious as to what you do in regards to altitude.
