You seem to think being a head football coach of an Am. football team is similar to being head cheerleader. You're thinking about a basketball coach. Coaching Am. football is complex. McCarthy is a good coach. The team cheerleader down there in Dallas is the owner, Jerry Jones.

Rodgers had absolutely nothing to do with personnel management accomplished by Ted Thomas.
If Ted Thomas were healthy enough to team up with McCarthy, McCarthy would once again show the world he is a good coach.

YUP. Analytics is the new nfl. NO MORE of these boneheaded and possibly concussed old guys going with their gut and making dumb decisions.
And the problem with dallas is not the qb play. It is the (lack of defense). NOW the thing they had going for them is gone because the offensive line is injured and old. Olineman FREDERICK retired last year and that was the beginning of the end. The rest can't stay healthy. ZEKE will not eat anymore in Dallas. THEY CAN WIN THE NFC EAST BY BEATING PHILLY WHEN THEY PLAY THEM LATER IN THE YEAR. PHILLY PROBLEM IS OLINE INJURIES TO BROOKS AND A COUPLE OTHERS. 6-10 WINS THAT DIVISION. 6 AND 10 YEP.
Actually 6-9-1. It will be ugly this year. Eagles O-line is getting down to the 3rd stringers, is playing CFL linebackers, and somehow has a Walmart receiving core again. The only saving grace is that Carson is playing well again.

I misstated former President of Green Bay Packers, Ted Thompson. Thompson got the players and managed salary cap. I believe Ted Thompson is suffering from cancer as I type.

Rodgers did not call his own plays when Rodgers played for Mike McCarthy & Ted Thompson. You cannot put all this on currently on McCarthy. Ted Thompson was an employee of city of Green Bay as are all Packers. Thompson, at his peak had a superior football mind than Jerry Jones. If Jerry Jones were an employee of city of Green Bay, could Jones have accomplished what Thompson accomplished?
Garrett would have a better record with this bunch than McCarthy but that isn't saying much. The defense is horrible. Through 6 games they have given up more points than anyone since like 1970. They lost a game on Monday in which they gave up 438 yards to the Cardinals and that was only with 9 completions. How in the world do you win giving up that many yards? The answer is you don't!
I've been a Cowboys fan for 40+ years and this defense is their worst. Even worse than the 1-15 1989 team. Wait until they quit on McCarthy and they will. I don't see this team winning 6 games.
