Look at runccg on insta, they coach a bunch of good high schookers
Build up to 70 miles per week your senior year, run some tempos a little slower than your race paces, and run some track intervals at your race pace for slightly more total distance than that race, run some long hill workouts that are a quarter mile or more if possible. And lift weights a couple days per week and core workouts everyday. And obviously run in the off-season like a steady 40-50 mpw before you start building up into the season. That should be plenty to get you there and is more than most people do.

I currently have PRs of 4:40 in the mile and 2:06 in the 800m as a SO - my goal is to compete in the ACC in college. I have no real guidance in my area from coaches. Does anyone have recommendations for elite online coaching?
Search areas, see credentials, prices, etc...
I'll coach you for free. I coach several of my friends and I'm in college running right now. I coached myself from 4:50 ish in the 1600 to 4:30 ish in one year (mostly in one track season). Let me know if you're interested.
Hehe! Here I am... )) This summer I coached (online) an American high school runner and after my 2 months coaching he ran his first XC 5 k in 17:15 ( former best high 18 ) , then back to his HS coach he just got worse with wrong training again. So far I have coached winners of 13 international races . Only the best is good enough...... Welcome to world class magic coaching! :)
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
