UK university student here. Last week a friend of mine woke up with a slight fever that lasted a few hours, went and got a test and today we've been told that he had Covid-19. A couple of nights before that me and a few others saw him for a few seconds when he walked into our kitchen to get some hot water for his pot noodle. And now apparently because of this, despite all of us feeling fine and me literally running every day with no change in my fitness, I'm now imprisoned in my room for 14 days! I'm only allowed a mini fridge and a microwave so I'm forced to eat a terrible diet too! Because I don't have symptoms I'm not allowed to get a test to prove the obvious truth that I'm not ill. So now my poor diet and lack of exercise will weaken my immune system, making me more vulnerable to actually getting ill. Who on Earth thinks this is a good idea?!
