My daughter is a D1 athlete and might be part time next semester, and I'm curious if anyone know if she needs to take a full time load to be eligible to compete. The specifics are that she's a junior and she's a fair amount ahead in getting the number of credits she needs to graduate. Her senior year will be a clinical year and the courses she's taking are all set. She only needs 10 credit hours next semester to finish the rest of the requirements for her major and two minors. We've gotten conflicting opinions about whether she needs to take an extra class to get to full time in order to be eligible to do her sport. She's taking 15 hours right now if that makes a difference. Anyone know the rule on this?
