Rucker: Looks like the body really took well to the weather break for the Saturday run. I hope you get a great weather day for the 50. Can make for a big mood swing depending what you get.
Seppo: Man that is a long block length. Good outlook for getting through winter with the conditions we all have right now. Going to be tough with unknown goal events.
OR: Much appreciated.
BHViking: Well deserved down weeks after the 100+ weeks. I enjoyed my EPs but felt like they didnt last very long with the "pop". Mine are just over 250mi now but have felt more flat than I remember the past two runs. I am also 180-5lbs of pounding.
DarkWave: Dang! You must be tough to be back running so quick after PRP. I had it done ~5 years ago all around the insertional achilles and I remember the excruciating pain once the local wore off. ouch.
GNR1: Well done on the last mile Tuesday. What effort would you say that is?
SlowMiles: Windy and solo sounds like hell. Just needed a cold rain to make it even worse haha. Excellent progression Tuesday, looks like you were in control just slowly cranking.
RunnerSam: Dang that 50k sounded rough with the hills and trail conditions. Should be good practice for the AT section of JFK. And still felt good enough to run a decent 6 the next day!
AJ: Glad to see youre on the road back. Almost through the 3 months and youll be back rolling!
Cocoon: haha great mix of running and riding. Man a 4.5mi long hill at 6% sounds rough but an excellent workout!
TRL: Nice! Longest since the injury and fastest avg run of the week to boot. making great progress man
WorkingHarder: Do we even want to know what leg blasters entails? Sounds rough!
GFMPH: Thanks. I seem to like those more than the short fast workouts.
Lanc: Agree completely on the EPs. Hey at least your 3rd rep was fast and not sure what happened and it was much slower. You got back in the groove for the remaining 3.
Sub6: It is a catch all word haha. Some may not like, all I know is I got a good workout haha. Originally I had 8 at aerobic tempo planned but a friends schedule finally lined up with mine so we ran 6 at my easy tempo pace together. I felt good to keep going and ratchet down so I went with the flow. Jenkins used the Tinman tables and the way I read it was Easy Tempo is MGP+20-30. Aerobic tempo is MGP to MGP+10s.
