recreational runner, looking for a training plan but don't really want to pay the price. are there any half decent ones out there?
run coach.com, Garmin and stravas pre programmed ones are the ones I've found but I have nothing to compare it to to know if they are any good.
has anyone had any success with these or know of any better ones?
What are you doing right now, or what have you done recently? What does a typical week look like? (How many days per week, how many total miles, what type of runs)
What are you trying to achieve? Do you have a race goal?
Did you run in HS? How old are you now? And if you have significant health issues, mention that, too.
ok ok more context:
I'm running 5 days a week, doing 35-45 miles per week, 1 x speed, 2 x easy runs, 1 x tempo and 1 x long run.
I don't have a specific race in mind, an April marathon and an October marathon hopefully.
I'm 32 and have been running since 2014.
