To some extent this is all about how selfish of a person you are. Odds are you aren't going to die from Covid if your under 40 or so.
I don't know how many swine flu deaths we had last year or any year. I do know that absent a vaccine, which is very unlikely, Covid has almost no chance of disappearing. What mechanism would make it disappear? Poof?
Also, odds are that you aren't going to die of Covid no matter what your age. Even if you get infected and are in your 70s, odds are you will not die of Covid.
