So I’ve heard of pre and post parent PRs, and I’ve heard of resetting your PRs each new decade of your life, but I’m considering a new set of PRs post snippening.
For reference, I have never been elite. I was sub varsity in high school, didn’t run collegiately, but have graduated to being a late 30s age group grinder. I run about 50 miles a week. I haven’t taken significant time off in 5 years and before that, never. My PRs are:
1 mile: 4:53 (age 32)
3000: 10:26 (age 37)
5000: 17:18 (age 31)
10,000: 37:08 (age 32)
Half Marathon: 1:29 (age 32)
Marathon: 4:29 (age 19) haven’t tried one since.
I’m interested in hearing from anyone who set PRs after their ability to sire children went away.
I understand that in a running household, only one person can hold the power crystal, but what do you do after the power crystal is shattered.
So besides my marathon PR which is obviously something I could jog just about any day of the week, which PR is easiest to take down at this age in these conditions?
Or, should I just shut it down and push reset on everything?
Is there such a thing as a post vasectomy power crystal?
