Sounds like he’s be racing in the coming months. Maybe Valencia?
North American Born! These guys must read Letsrun.
Does the Swoosh x (Symbol for closing a window) on his Shirt mean anything?
Who?

However, it would surely matter a great deal if distance running had been utterly dominated by white North Americans for decades and suddenly a Kenyan was winning elite races.
That would be a VERY INSPIRATIONAL STORY about BREAKING DOWN BARRIERS and PROVING ANYONE (ANYONE!) CAN COMPETE AT THE HIGHEST LEVELS, no?
His only significant vacations were to Chicago? I'm from the area and I like Chicago, but that would be kind of a boring childhood to never travel anywhere else.
Where was Ryan Hall born?

Where is Galen Rupp? Looks like he has a big house.
He clearly lives in a mansion. The dude is rolling in dough.

I found that odd, as well.
I wonder if whoever wrote that has ever heard of:
Matt Tegencamp, Ryan Hall (marathon), Alan Webb(1500), Jim Spivey(2000m), Ben True (road 5k), Mark Nenow (road 10k), Jeff Schiebler (road 10 mile) etc etc.
Because all of those guys ran faster than Rupp at distance events, and all were born in North America. Here is the list of North American records, and most of them were by people born in North America, and most don't say "Rupp" next to them, he only appears in 1 place, and would only appear in 3, i think if you removed anybody born outside of North America:
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_North_American_records_in_athleticsIt's a really weird distinction to make "north american born." Its even a step weirder sounding than "american born."
So good to hear from Galen. Wish he did more interviews.
Second best North American born runner in the world right now!

What they mean is he's Western European genetically. Why not just be open and say that.
2 Olympic medals sponsored by Nike for last 12 years or so Top American distance runner he is doing well I am sure
Sub "best for "fastest". None of those other athletes won a global medal. Teg was close, 4th Osaka 2007.
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
Running for Bowerman Track Club used to be cool now its embarrassing
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
Hats off to my dad. He just ran a 1:42 Half Marathon and turns 75 in 2 months!
