This is pretty reckless and stupid. No reason whatsoever to stress your body at 9 months prego.
I say this as someone who spent a good deal of time in the NICU with a preterm baby. You really want to avoid that, it isn't fun.
Great last name for a mile WR-holder
It’s like a library detective named Bookman
I'm a guy so I can't get pregnant but if I could I wouldn't be dumb enough to run a 5:25 mile
They're being extremely ignorant.
One trip and fall and that baby would be severely damaged or dead.
The running genes will be strong with that baby.

Ok, but if her running "stressed her body" and caused the baby to come early, it wouldnt be preterm...
People love to throw shade at pregnant women running on this site. Ive never seen any evidence showing it is actually bad for the baby? Falling is a risk, but running on a track doesn't seem any more of a risk of falling than walking through a busy store, etc.
You know what is actually dangerous in the last trimester, but people don't attack people online for doing? Driving. Otherwise minor accidents kill fetuses all the time.
Likewise, nobody tells you to greatly minimize driving while your kids are small, but even with a proper car seat, they're far more likely to be injured in an accident than an adult. This is especially true the smaller they are, newborns are super fragile in a car, but people think nothing of strapping them in and making a run to the store, some people even use driving as a way to get crying babies to calm down.

.
I never really thought about it like that but a pregnant belly pressed up against a steering wheel and she slams on the breaks when cut off or whatever. That's probably more likely than a fit pregnant runner falling on a track.
Now, running through trails with embedded stones and roots in the path, that's way too risky.
Two points:
1. Couldn’t have been too comfortable for the fetus. Really a baby at that point of pregnancy.
2. If something unfortunate had happened, medical insurance should not be reasonably expected to cover this reckless behavior.
She just ran 5:17 with baby #2
Don’t be a bigot. Any gender can get pregnant. Trust the science
Reckless and stupid. No words.
Boy oh boy, is it clear that few of you brilliant commenters...
1) have ever been pregnant
2) have ever run while pregnant
The whole activity has little in common to lugging around a bouncing beer belly, which for some reason is what you dolts are imagining.
