I’m running a half in 2 months and am not sure what to target. It’s been 2 years since my last HM (1:48) but recently I ran 3x2 miles in 12:40 average with a 1 mile jog rest. I currently run 35-40 mpw. Do I have a shot?

I’d think you’d be close! What kind of effort is that? I did an 8 mile fartlek at 6:44 pace average which I’d imagine is a similarly difficult workout and also almost broke 1:30 for my long run last week... I’d imagine I’m in 1:23-1:25 in race right now.
I think it’d be worth a shot!
I did a similar workout (3x2 miles in 12:44 average with 5 minutes standing rest) while doing 40-45mpw, and about a month later I ran 1:29:52. You seem like you're in a much better place than I was, especially considering you've still got time before your race, so I would say you can definitely break 1:30.
Good luck, you've got this!
Of course you will. I do 3x2 in 13:15 with more recovery and I consistently run in the 1:26-1:28 range.
Where is this half?

I think you have a good shot of breaking 1:30. The one thing I'd add over the next 6 weeks is raising your weekly mileage until you taper. 35-40 mpw isn't a lot for a HM. Adding easy miles is low-hanging fruit for you right now.
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
