face the facts
face the facts
MJ is laughing at you right now
3 teams, all rings (4), including Cleveland- which is unreal.
Jordan w/o Pippen never made it past the 1st Rd in 5 tries.
I hate LeBron's politics. But facts are facts.
I wish lebron would shut up. But he's definitely better than Jordan.
Lebron has won championships with truly crappy teams and crappy coaches. Jordan had the best teammates and best coach in the league.
Even this current Laker team is trash with the exception of Anthony Davis. Danny Green? Kentavious Caldwell-Pope? Who the hell is Alex Caruso? Caruso is playing 30+ minutes a game in the playoffs. Jordan wouldn't make it out of the first round of the playoffs with this group.
He has the highest 5 year and 10 year playoff peak as measured by WS/48. Whoever you got as GOAT, Lebron better be close to the top.
Jordan has:
More championships
More MVPs
More Finals MVPs
More scoring
More points per game
He also did most of it on one team.
I'm sure he'll catch up one day.

Jordan has:
More championships - Jordan was on the favored team, according to Vegas, in 6 of his 6 appearances. Lebron has been favored in 3 of 10.
More MVPs
More Finals MVPs
More scoring - This isn't relevant without context. Lebron is the more efficient scorer and plays a more all around game.
More points per game - same as above
He also did most of it on one team. - lmao how is this a positive? I'm sure Lebron would've loved the Cleveland FO to properly build around him.

So the only response you have is "this isn't relative"? HAHA what about everything else?
How is being loyal positive?
He didn't go to different teams just to get a championship.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TR6EWbm-6FwNot disagreeing with you that MJ is the GOAT, I just wouldn't make it with those arguments. They're very different players, and scoring is only a piece of the puzzle, especially given Lebron's efficiency. Kobe put up big numbers as well, while only averaging 41% FG over his 7 Finals appearances.
Plenty of stars are loyal, and they never win a chip as a result. It shouldn't be a knock against a player to make it happen when the FO can't. Lebron never formed the 2017 GSW, just teams that could adequately compete in the Finals.

I'd love to see more reasons than those as to why Lebron is better...

Uh, Jordan was far and away the biggest reason those teams were favored...it's not like the Bulls won any titles without him, you know? Pippen was fantastic obviously but the Bulls' rosters weren't anything special aside from those 2.
LeBron is amazing. Pretty easily one of the very best (top 3? 5? 2?) of all time. It starts getting really hard to compare across eras though (eg Bill Russell), but what I saw in Jordan was an unprecedented level of individual excellence and dominance coupled with astounding team success. There was never any question from about 1990-1998 who the best player was - whereas LeBron has often been equalled or outplayed by his contemporaries (D-Wade, Pierce, Kobe, KG, Duncan, Durant, Steph all have meaningful wins over LeBron, and have at times outplayed or equalled him). It's his longevity and consistency that are his greatest traits, but I don't think he hit the highs or outright dominance that Jordan did.
Lebron can be the bubble goat.
Yawn. LeSnooze Fest.
LBJ as GOAT? Just shows you how much the NBA has declined over the years.
LeBron is an unreal player no doubt about it. Where does he rank in terms of all time best ever players? I have no idea. It's very, very hard to compare generations like people want to do. The players evolve. The game changes. The era Jordan played in was a lot different than the era Russell played in which is different than the era James is in.
How many more PPG could West/Havliceck/Robertson/etc had with a 3 point shot?
How many more championships would Jordan have won had he not retired the first time?
Would LeBron have survived the early to mid 90s NBA where if you came in the lane, you were likely to get assaulted?
Would Russell/Chamberlain have dominated today's game like they did in their era?
These are just some of the questions you'll never know the answer to so people need to stop debating it. It's pointless and a waste of time.
I’m 43 and have always been a huge NBA fan. This was the first finals in 3 decades I didn’t watch and had no interest in watching.
Lebron has as good of skillset as anyone before him. I’m just over the super team ring chasing. The doing it with 3 different team thing is a knock on his legacy in my old man crappy opinion!
The funny thing is that if he’d have stayed in Cleveland his entire career he’d very well may have 4 rings. Instead, he’s played the ring chasing game and his legacy is hard to even gauge. He’s played with so many stars.
When they do the Lebron version of “last dance” the story won’t be nearly as captivating.
Absolutely amazing player. I just personally don’t like the path he took.
I take your general point, but to think LeBron would have had problems with the physicality of the early to mid 90s NBA is bordering on ludicrous.
Bill Russell has 11 rings. End of debate.
Danny Green has 3 rings from 3 different teams also.
He's just as good as Lebron.
Good lord it's like talking to a wall.
