I've never raced a 10K before so I don't have a recorded time for that, the fastest I've ever run a 10K was 42:38 during a half marathon (in April). My 5K PR is 18:44 (~1 year ago) and the fastest 5K I've run this year is 19:12.
I don't have an indoor track season this year but we still get outdoor and I want to get into 10Ks so I figured sub-40 would be a good starting goal for me (20F). I just wanted to have a sort of timeline to go off of so that I can tell if I'm not making progress with my training plan and need to change something. How long should it take me to break 40?
