I detest grocery shopping. People milling around getting in the way, not enough checkout clerks, etc. I've got it down to once every 3 weeks or so.

i eat the same 3 or 4 things constantly. i can do a trip every 3 weeks. but i do hit 3 different stores on that shopping day. all within 1/4 mile
shopping is even less enjoyable with the masks on.
also, jamin is like the king of starting a thread and giving zero or close to zero response throughout the rest of the thread.
Exactly! I am happy to learn I am not the only one who loves the Gross Out!

Plus if you're a serious runner, you wouldn't spend your downtime grocery shopping. All that time spent walking around the store is detrimental towards recovery.
Stop. I can run 60-70 mpw and still find the energy to go grocery shopping 5 days/week (and usually 2 stores per day due to price). It's not that much time if you've planned what you're going to purchase.

They only change the sales once per week.
Yes they do. I go to multiple grocery stores and cherry-pick their sales.
I go to the grocery everyday but not the same one everyday. There are usually a few I go to. Often I go to several different ones on the same day to pick up a few pieces or just to browse. It is interesting to see the different types of bread, fruits, veg or dark chocolate they have. I like to browse for exotic fruits for example, like custard apples jackfruit. I'm also a cake addict so I always go around looking for a few nice slices of cake(good quality cake, not the mass produced pre packed crap). I enjoy carrot cake, coffee cake, orange and almond, dark chocolate cake, pistachio, hazelnut cakes. Canolis or tiramisu are one of my favorite
