Does covid have long term effects on running?

Ten times more likely that a healthy runner gets permanently injured in a car crash. So are you stopping auto travel now? Doubtful because you seem incapable of objectively assessing risk.

Well, Hounddogharrier got COVID-19, and he won't ever run again - he died. I'd say that's a long term, permanent affect on running. He was posting here just three months ago.

It's also just so wildly out of line with real-life observation. I've known quite a few people that have had it, and 0% have any lingering issues.

If 50% were having long-term lung issues, we'd all know several people suffering from them.

Yep, he died and that is sad except all of us die. It was unexpected for a 20 year old. RIP sir

I had covid. I got pnemonia from it so it "got to my lungs". It took some time (about 6 weeks) but my running is back to where it was precovid. Your sample size of one isn't reflective of everyone else.

Try digging deep than your ass. The study makes no mention of "your" funding sources. If you could read you might try the the actual full study.
