I suspect the majority of people thought you wanted us to tell you if we thought you could qualify. At least that guy did, and I did a well. I also thought you wanted some stories of big people running a qualification, though.
I think that other guy was half kidding, though, and you took his bait.
To answer your question, yes I've known people who qualified for Boston with a BMI of 25. I dont personally know anybody with a higher BMI than that who have qualified. The BQ standards are such that a highly talented runner could easily be way out of shape/size and still qualify, while a low talented runner needs to be in peak shape to make it.
